Wellington-born and bred, Cameron is a passionate and dedicated podiatrist and physiotherapist with a profound interest in foot and ankle pathology. As an expert in this field, he has spent years honing his skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation for patients dealing with various foot and ankle conditions. Cameron is committed to tailoring personalised treatment plans that address the root cause of the problem and promote long-lasting recovery. His approach blends evidence-based techniques with the latest advancements in podiatry and physiotherapy, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore overall foot and ankle function.
In addition, Cameron leads the Foot Foundation team in our nail pathology (dermatology) clinics. Cameron is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualised care for patients dealing with various nail conditions affecting not only the feet but also the hands. From common issues like fungal nail infections and ingrown toenails to more complex dermatological concerns, Cameron stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in nail pathology to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans. Clare graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2015. Since then, she has practiced in Canberra and Newcastle, before relocating to Auckland. Her journey into podiatry began after dealing with painful ingrown toenails herself for many years. Clare enjoys all aspects of podiatric care, particularly the management of skin and nail conditions, cosmetic nail solutions, footwear advice and orthotic therapy.
She believes in patient-focused and a holistic approach to podiatric care and creates tailored treatment plans unique to the patients lifestyle.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new parks with her two young children and husband, or going to a Pilates class.
Carlo Nanar

Carlo graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry from Auckland University of Technology in 2024. He has a strong interest in all aspects of podiatry, including toenail pathologies, biomechanics, and high-risk care. Carlo enjoys tackling challenges, continuously learning new skills, and expanding his knowledge to provide the best care possible for his patients.
Helping others and solving problems is at the heart of what he does, and he is passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives. Outside of podiatry, Carlo loves staying active by going to the gym, enjoying the outdoors, and exploring new food experiences. He is committed to applying his skills and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional care and contribute to the wellbeing of his patients every day.
Ben Stephen
Podiatrist Remuera
Ben recently graduated from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry. He enjoys all aspects of podiatry, with a special interest in biomechanics and musculoskeletal podiatry. Ben brings a calm, friendly approach to every appointment and aims to make patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their care.
He is excited to continue learning and growing as a healthcare practitioner and will be pursuing further post-graduate study at AUT with an honours project looking at different ways in which underfoot interventions will impact the movement of the big toe joint.
He is a keen ice hockey player who spends most of his spare time at the rink or in the gym.
Abe Mathew
Podiatrist Remuera
Abe has a strong clinical interest in biomechanics, particularly the problem-solving aspects of movement and how this influences pain, function, and performance. He enjoys working closely with patients to assess movement patterns and develop practical, evidence-based treatment plans.
Highly active himself, Abe regularly trains at the gym and practises Tae-Kwon-Do, where he holds a black belt and is also an instructor. This background gives him a strong understanding of the physical demands of sport and training, which he brings into his clinical approach.
Abe has a particular interest in running and footwear, and enjoys working with runners of all levels on injury management, performance optimisation, and appropriate shoe and orthotic selection.
Outside the clinic, Abe enjoys discovering new places to eat and has a special appreciation for the cuisine of Kerala, in the south of India, where he was born.
