Wellington-born and bred, Cameron is a passionate and dedicated podiatrist and physiotherapist with a profound interest in foot and ankle pathology. As an expert in this field, he has spent years honing his skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation for patients dealing with various foot and ankle conditions. Cameron is committed to tailoring personalised treatment plans that address the root cause of the problem and promote long-lasting recovery. His approach blends evidence-based techniques with the latest advancements in podiatry and physiotherapy, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore overall foot and ankle function.

In addition, Cameron leads the Foot Foundation team in our nail pathology (dermatology) clinics. Cameron is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualised care for patients dealing with various nail conditions affecting not only the feet but also the hands. From common issues like fungal nail infections and ingrown toenails to more complex dermatological concerns, Cameron stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in nail pathology to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans. This has led to Cameron speaking to other health providers through webinars and conferences to share his knowledge and experience in treating common and difficult nail pathologies.

Amanda Barr

Amanda grew up in the rural Waikato on a farm and has only left the mighty Waikato to study in Auckland. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) in 2016. Amanda has a passion for all aspects of podiatry, including sports injuries, ingrown toenails, fungal nails, general podiatric care, and conditions of the foot and lower limb. Amanda took a special interest in paediatric podiatry when her son was born with positional talipes, and how podiatry played a big role in his rehabilitation. Amanda takes a holistic patient-centred care approach, working with each individual to a tailored treatment plan to help get to the bottom of the root cause, reduce pain, support mobility, and improve overall function. When Amanda is not in the clinic, she is on call as a volunteer firefighter. When she’s not on the fire groun,d she is looking after her two young toddlers with her husband. Amanda also loves being on the farm or competing in motocross.
